Michael Beverley DL BA FCA FRSA - ChairmanMichael spent the first 28 years of his business career with Arthur Andersen and retired in 2001. He was latterly UK regional and senior managing partner responsible for 3,500 people, 11 offices and a turnover of £350m. Since 2001, Michael has focused on developing a range of businesses centred on healthcare and property with his partners Richard Jackson and Ross Pullan. Their current range of businesses are One Medical, Halcyon Communities (developer of care homes and care villages), Telemedcare (vital signs software), Creative Care and Therapy (child care and therapy centres) and Yorkshire Ventures which is involved in residential developments. In his spare time Michael is Chairman of Opera North, on the Advisory Board of the University of Leeds Business School and, since 2000, a Director of the DTI's London based Industrial Development and Advisory Board.
Rachel Beverley-Stevenson BA (Hons) - Chief ExecutiveRachel has hands on experience of senior level management across European and Australasian markets and is responsible for devising and delivering company wide strategy. Rachel set up One Medical in 2004 and the company has since developed into a substantial business and become a leading player in the provision of healthcare facilities. Rachel is service driven with specific knowledge of the primary care sector
Robert J Smith FCA - Finance DirectorRobert was the Finance Director of the Centaur Clothes Group based in Leeds. Following this he joined the Nidd Vale Motor Group as Finance Director until its disposal in 2003 which also involved the demerger of the Mercedes-Benz division of the business into Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire and he continued as Finance Director of that business. Robert joined One Medical Limited in July 2006.
Ross PullanRoss has 28 years in the Construction Industry, latterly as Construction Director of J.Pullan & Sons Ltd with principal responsibility for Asda store refurbishments and principal contractor for Marks & Spencer. Average turnover of J Pullan & Sons was £10m. Substantial experience in care home developments carried out for Takare Plc, (later sold to BUPA).
Richard Jackson MBE DLRichard has an extensive background in property development as well as other business enterprises. During his career Richard has been Director Jackson Property & Investments Ltd (1988 – 1997), Director Consort Homes Ltd (1989-1999), Director Ebor Homes Ltd (1986-1999). Other business roles have included: 1969-1991 Joint Managing Director, Centaur Clothes Group, (latterly part of William Baird Plc), 1979 – 2003 Executive Chairman Nidd Vale Motors, 1991 – 1994 Non Executive Director Goodlife Holdings Ltd. Richard is also a Former Board Member of Grimsby Town Football Club.
