The Craiglands Hotel in Ilkley was the venue for a charity spring ball in aid of Multiple Sclerosis research on Friday 24th April 2009. The black-tie event brought a touch of big-band glamour to the Moors with music from ‘The Nightshift’, dinner, dancing, auction and tombola.

The event was organised and supported by individuals, families and businesses in Yorkshire and beyond who have been affected by or inspired to help the 85,000 people in the UK suffering from Multiple Sclerosis.

Organisers of the charity event were thrilled with the response from local and regional businesses that have supported the cause, with main sponsorship provided by Towry Law Financial Services, One Medical, JD Williams and Yorkshire Building Society.

One Medical was delighted to sponsor the event and in total over £13,500 has been raised for the charity. Anyone wishing to make a donation can post a cheque payable to “MS Research Event” to: C/o White Cross News, MS Research Event, 16 Bradford Road, Guiseley, Leeds, LS20 8NH.
