13.09.2007 - New look as surgery Reopened
THE Rosegarth Surgery, at Bell Hall, Halifax, has been altered and improved, and officially reopened by the Mayor of Calderdale, Martin Peel.
The surgery now has two extra treatment rooms, more training space and larger and newly decorated areas for patients and staff.
Practice manager Sue de Lacy said: "We are thrilled with the results of the refurbishment. We have gained so much space and the new treatment rooms mean we can offer a better service to our patients."
Rachel Beverley-Stevenson, chief executive of One Medical, said: "Ever increasing demands are being put on doctors surgeries to offer more services and this is not always possible with the space available.
"We work closely with the surgery and our architects to make sure as much room as possible is achieved to meet their demands."
Everyone who attended the surgery on opening day was given a piece of fruit.
